Chanel Creations

This Chanel Creations blazer dates to the pre-Lagerfeld era of Chanel. It is black and impressioned with a rosette print theme which can clearly be viewed in the second image of the back.

This blazer, classic as it is can be worn with what ever you please. My choice would be a vintage YSL blouse like the one to come and some great skinny slacks and you are most likely good to go. This blazer takes what could be boring and adds just a little something to it to give it star quality!

Pucci did some blouses

For the woman who loves Pucci, this is a treasure trove of blouses. Eleven in all there is no way you wont find something you don't want. So instead of chitter chatter I shall let the items speak for themselves.

Blouse #5: This blouse is from the 60s, hence the bright orange and pink psychedelic pattern on the silk scarf print. I like the striped border that runs on the placard and the hem of the shirt and is then echoed on the cuffs. SOLD


Blouse #6: This 60s, button up silk scarf print blouse is perfect for the fall harvest festival you will be attending soon. The shades of pumpkin, black and brown highlighted with some grey make this the perfect blouse to wear at home for Thanksgiving dinner. SOLD

Ski Season by Pucci

Little known to the general public is the fact that Emilio Pucci was a member of the Italian national downhill ski team. It was from this experience that he decided to become a designer of ski-wear. It was only when demand for his designs for his own ski clothing became popular that he began to mass produce Pucci ski clothing. Well this little posting of silk jersey pullovers remind me of 60s chic ski attire great for on the slopes and perfect for a little apres-ski. So if you are headed to Aspen, Vail, Chamonix or even Sestriere where the Italian national team trains you might want one of these pieces to accent your black marmot trousers!

The first is this silk jersey v-neck pullover from the 60s. It was not always this short and was originally a dress that was modified by the owner into this cute little top. The rich and dark shades of purples and greens are warming in the winter months to come and fun in the sun thereafter. SOLD

This particular incarnation is extra fun, with the grey and pink swirl pattern. The v-neck allows you to let off steam when you come in for your hot cocoa in between runs and the length is just a little bit longer so you can maintain your modesty while you lunch at the lodge sans jacket. It is of course from the 60s and silk jersey. SOLD


This one is my personal favorite and pick of the day! The colors are so glorious and make me feel like I am outside in the fall, rather than inside in the fall at this computer. Right now in Aspen the trees are at their peak of change and its beautiful. Just like this 60s leaf print brown and coral silk jersey pullover. The scoop neck is elegant and it's labeled as a size 10. SOLD



This is another silk jersey round neck pullover to keep the theme going. Also from the 60s it is patterned with black, grey and shades of aqua stripes falling diagonally across the chest. It looks extra sweet with the sleeves hiked up just so as you can see below. SOLD

And now for some gowns.

With such an abundance of Pucci, one might become super giddy and not be able to look past the first couple postings. However, my Decades loving friends, be strong and keep reading as there is many more amazing pieces to come. Coming straight to you from the Pitkin County Library in Aspen, Colorado here are four lovely dresses...

The first is my favorite. It is a 60s empire waist, jersey round neck full length evening gown. The colors are vibrant in magenta, yellow, green and black and the shape is very flattering. This dress could easily have sauntered off the catwalks from the Spring 2007 shows as this dress so very current and up-to-date. It is marked as a size 10, however it is shown here on a size 4 mannequin. The scoop neck on the back, revealing the shoulder blades is a sexy touch to this fabulous gown. SOLD


This Pucci gown was created for Formfit Rogers in the 70s. It is a bright melon color with a stand out floral pattern printed on top. It is labeled as a size medium and is shown here on a size 4 mannequin. The plunging v-neck means that bustier women can get away with wearing this dress as it lightens the visual weight of the print.



This is another Pucci for Formfit Rogers creation. Dated from the 70s, it allows some Asian fun with the Kimono style wrap robe detailing. The colors are not too bright, which would make the dress too loud. Instead they are subdued and very Pucci. I like that Pucci maintained the long sleeves which adds to the kimono effect. SOLD
