MOSCHINO COUTURE!

When the going gets tough (i.e., the stock market closing at under 8000), we smile and think of the joy Franco Moschino gave people through his clever and often whimsical designs in the 1980s and 1990s. This shirtmaker dress has "Le Smoking-isms" a la double-breasted men's evening jacket, but this dress is backless and belted with outside pockets. It's casual enough for day use and would not look out of place at a cocktail party, either. (After all, it's a tuxedo dress!). Made of light-weight wool crepe, the original owner explained she wore this dress so often and it was so reliable. Fortunately, she was very gentle with her clothing and this is in tip-top condition and ready for a fun and functional new home. Well, not too functional.
