VACATION IS OVER/BACK TO WORK

Many of you probably had a significant winter vacation. We envy you. Team Decades didn't get a break. As you can see from our posts in the past week, we accumulated a lot of amazing inventory during the holidays and we are voraciously posting our latest acquisitions. We will assume all of our blog readers have completed your get-aways in St. Barth's or Gstaad and have returned to the 9 to 5 grind. Well, you need a new bag!

The three bags below are the ultimate in practical luxury. The Hermes black Taurillon leather "Whitebus" is more-or-less a 40cm Birkin without the signature flap and belt closure. It's an easy tote shape with an outside pocket and slots inside for a BlackBerry and notepad. These retailed for $6800 when they debuted in 2005, but you will save a nice lump of cash when you buy this gently used and very unusual bag from Decades. The second Hermes bag is also in Taurillon leather, but this time in red and it is from 2003. The "Escapade" looks like a Bolide gone a bit square. A very light weight bag in an extremely easy size for every day use, we particularly like the bottom of the bag which is edged in a looooong "H" - tres chic. Finally, we are happy to offer a wonderful yellow Chanel bag in caviar leather. The sunflower yellow color is a preview of a spring that is yet to arrive.
