ISN'T IT ROMANTIC?

There is something so romantic about Yves Saint Laurent and his sensual handling of chiffon, especially when he goes a little Gypsy on us with this beautiful ensemble of a peasant blouse and ruffle skirt that infuses a little Flamenco into the mix. It's no secret that we also have soft spots for two piece ensembles because they mean you get extra bang for the buck! Work this blouse with skinny velvet tuxedo pants for the fall (Decades Denim "Nadja" style is our suggestion -- shipping October 30th!). The ruffle skirt would be very fresh with a ribbed tank top under a denim jacket and flip flops for a St. Barth's holiday, too. Wear the ensemble together with some gorgeous heels and you have a very fresh black tie ensemble that begs for some bold vintage YSL jewelry (which we have in bulk of course!). We are showing the blouse worn over the skirt in the photos, but it is always possible to tuck-in the blouse and wear a thick belt for some waist definition. A chic woman makes black not look like black, so your accessories can be colorful and unexpected and suddenly this black two-fer is as colorful as a Carnival. Or avoid the parade, light a candelabra, and entertain your friends at home and bring back romance!
