When Color Met Blocking!

Amongst the array of signature looks the late Gianni Versace sent down the runway, comes his fabulous artwork of color-blocking. Mr. Versace derived many of his creations from the influence of mastermind Andy Warhol; this amazingly easy color-blocked dress definitely finds its basis in Warhol's use of color.

What makes this dress effortless is not only the bold colors (little need for extravagant jewels, right?), but the breezy chiffon and lettuce edging at the hem--providing the right amount of movement and sensuality. This dress begs for nude heels, possibly an ice-blue or metallic-silver clutch, and the right amount of the approaching of spring and its flirtatious attitude to dance the night away with cocktail in hand!

Gianni Versace color block , chiffon, baby doll dress. Modern size 2-4 SOLD
