A Chanel boucle suit in navy blue is perfect for a First Lady. It's actually perfect for a "lady," period. One of the required items in a well-dressed woman's closet is a classic Chanel skirt suit. This Jackie-O style ensemble is a Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel design from the early 1980s. With a round collar and four buttons going down the front of the jacket, the soft shoulder cardigan style also has two functional pockets. The short coordinating skirt wraps to one side and naturally the jacket has a weighted signature chain link at the edge, below the blue silk lining. The buttons look like little "Coco Chanel" coins.

If you don't own a skirt suit, it's time to grow up and own one! There's a time in a woman's life where this is the only appropriate attire for particular functions. Naturally, you can wear the jacket with a pair of jeans or the skirt with a cashmere turtleneck and a pair of boots. This is the ultimate in First Lady chic.
