YSL at his best sans mans

Do forgive my artistic negligence when taking this first photo, I realize it is slightly startling to see a mannequin without its appendages. However the focus is on this dress. Exactly where it ought to be. Think, 70s and think Spanish inspired. Then black simply as a rule and add a touch of Yves Saint Lauren Rive Gauche and you have this utterly outstanding ensemble.

As you will see this Spanish styled chiffon evening gown trimmed with furry pompoms can be worn in an array of ways. The top blouse can be worn on its own or as part of the ensemble. And the skirt can be hiked up to be worn as a strapless gown with belt. The chiffon is not as sheer as it appears in the photos, this simply happens from the flash reflecting off the white mannequin. SOLD

This combination of layers from YSL is essentially everything you would want in a vintage piece of his work. Completely timeless and completely glamorous.
