PLEASANT BLOUSE

Although we have attended the famous Ethnographic Show in Sante Fe in the past, we are not experts when it comes to antique ethnic textiles other than we know what we like and we certainly like this! Out of the closet of a bonafide fashion icon and muse (our lips are sealed) is this pique embroidered peasant blouse of unknown origin with elaborate floral embroidery and metal paillettes applied by hand, naturally.

A peasant blouse is always a pleasant addition to your wardrobe. Yves Saint Laurent famously referenced peasant blouses in his Couture collections and Oscar de la Renta always has a delicious blouse on the runway nearly every season (often costing well into the mid four figures). Why not own an original? With awe-inspiring sleeves with delicate lace inserts and trim, this is the ultimate peasant blouse for the most pleasant fashion lover.
