HERMES THAT DOESN'T RING A BELL

So sometimes at Decades we like to foil you with something that you can't identify. After all, isn't that one of the appeals of vintage...something with mystery! Well, something mysterious AND Hermes is just too good to not be shared with our beloved blog readers. This "Passe Guide" Hermes ostrich bag c late 70s with exaggerated gold horse bit trim on the sides is a totally functional shoulder bag that has a distinctive flair. The shape is reminiscent of both a lyre and something a Scotsman in a kilt would have around his waist. Okay, we are romanticizing this bag a lot, but we love it and we know our blog readers like things out of the ordinary, so here's to the ladies of lunch who aren't afraid to stick out of a crowd.
