Bright, hot, and ready for a night out, this is a classic Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture cocktail dress. We call the color "Flame" because it falls perfectly between tomato red and burnt orange. The dress is a classic cocktail with long sleeves and a plunging neckline. It is constructed from silk with a satin lining. There is boning around the waist to maintain the shape of the intricate ruching and draping around the mid-section. A keyhole back rounds out the look providing a perfect balance of skin from the front to the back. This dress is about the Couture details: zippers on the cuffs, hand-worked prick stitch seams, and all the metal zippers perfectly match the color of the dress. If only every designer would pay such close attention to details, the world would be a much more beautiful place.
