FLAPPER'S FLAP

Daisy Buchanan never wore Halston. It simply wasn't an option during the "Jazz Age," but this design by Halston certainly evokes the spirit of a Flapper. A simple white silk tank dress with hand embroidered pailettes and bugle beads in iridescent shades of blue and pink, the dress gets its "flap on" via the bugle bead fringe that hangs throughout the dress. If you dream of Dancing with the Stars, throw this on and samba, rumba, and tango the night away. This is a dress that needs a soundtrack. The dress may look a little lifeless on our mannequin, but throw on some silver metallic sandals and shake your booty. It will never look better!

Halston iridescent hand beaded fringe flapper dress, c, 1980. Contemporary 4 to 6 (This dress should not fit too tight on the body. It should be a bit loose) SOLD
