OSCAR OR OSCAR?

Since 1965, Dominican Republic born couturier, Oscar Aristides Renta Fiallo, aka Oscar de la Renta, has designed beautiful clothing for fashionable women. He has always designed luxurious clothing that manages to be timely and timeless. A great Oscar dress never goes out of a style and so many Oscar attendees have favored his designs for Hollywood's biggest night. If one wears Oscar to the Oscars, it's a guarantee you will look appropriate.

The yellow silk dress below is a great example of Mr. de la Renta's early work. The long-sleeved butter dress features an embroidered tonal swirl design along with the addition of pearls applied along the neck and bust, as well as, intermediately throughout the skirt portion. This dress may be from the beginning of Mr. de la Renta's career, but it's as stylish as any of his current and luxurious designs in the 21st Century.
