NOT THE COLD SHOULDER

Few things are as American as a Halston one shoulder chiffon dress. Others include baseball and apple pie. It may seem difficult to equate a classic Halston crepe chiffon dress with a piece of fattening apple pie (a la mode, please!) or a trip to Dodger Stadium, but all three are quintessential examples of the American lifestyle. Although the Halston may represent the more glamorous "I go to Studio 54" style, baseball, apple pie, and this stunning dress below are part of the fabric of America.

This dress is a simple concoction of a long crepe chffin dress with a shorter tunic on top that covers one arm like a Goddess. There is a slight key hole created by a knot at the shoulder and the dress is a bit sheer...we might suggest adding a nude lining or a slip. However, if you are European doing American chic, then maybe you can put on a brave face and go our bare. This is a dress for Bulgari jewels and ornate gladiator sandals. It's really a Decades prerequisite purchase: owning a one shoulder 70s Halston is like membership into the exclusive Dodgers' Dugout club. This dress gives you All Access, but we encourage you NOT to give ALL ACCESS to the admires you will attract in the hot one-shoulder gown.
