This Lanvin Just Landed.

Do you remember the movie "My Stepmother is an Alien? This jumpsuit would have looked amazing on Kim Basinger, and been perfect for that role. If only we could go back and give it to the costume designer, Kim might have won Oscar for being fabulous. But we digress, the jumpsuit comes to us from Lanvin of the 70's. The material is marbled metallic cotton with sheer chiffon sleeves. The sleeves have been covered in groupings of metallic paillettes, large metal disks, metallic beads, patterned hexagons and so on. The outfit could easily be from the last Balenciaga collection, with all the futuristic materials and accoutrement. The material has no give, it is one of those pieces that either fits or it doesn't. There will be no squeezing into this jumpsuit. This outfit is a runway sample, and the label reflects that. Now get out that pick, tease that hair, throw on some 6" heeled boots and get into it!
