CHANEL SURPRISE

We like to be surprised. After nearly eleven-and-a-half years, we usually think we have seen it all, but this 80s era Chanel bag was a surprise. The diamond quilting on smooth leather is not familiar to us and the gilt chain is not typical of most of the vintage Chanel bags we see at Decades. The previous owner added the CC charm which is from Autumn 1996, but she bought this bag almost a decade earlier. The zippered top reveals a dramatic red grosgrain lining and a very functional interior featuring a coin purse detail and several pockets. Vintage Chanel bags may be a bit de rigueur these days, but this shoulder bag looks fresh and is ready for a new lease on life. The bag was lovingly re-conditioned by Chanel and also includes an Identity Card for authentication purposes.
