Winter Wrapping

Though it is 85 degrees here in LaLa Land, we have decided it's time to begin posting winter outerwear. The two coats below come from a pair of 60's fashion icons, Emmanuel Ungaro and Norman Norell.

The first coat is a thick navy wool in a herringbone pattern with substantial mother of pearl buttons framed in gold roping. There are two front pockets on the coat that begin just where the 3/4 length sleeves end. The coat is completely lined with navy satin. This is a lovely coat, perfect for a chic fall or winter event where one needs to protect her cute little cocktail dress from the elements.

Second in line on the chic outerwear front is this red brushed wool Emmanuel Ungaro wrap coat. One side of the coat comes high to the neck and the other side dips low forming a deep V. There are four small red and black lacquer buttons on the left side of the coat. The left flap has a hidden interior button so you can wear it high, close to the neck, or leave it open. This coat hits just below the knee and has full sleeves and red satin lining throughout.
