Looking to make an entrance? For most women, that means a revealing neckline or a high slit in the skirt; but as Michelle Pfeiffer demonstrated in her iconic film debut, sometimes the most captivating feature is a plunging back. You'll achieve just that result with this Seventies stunner from Donald Brooks--especially if you have an elevator in your house. We're wild about the string halter collar and the wrapped waist... and, in case you didn't like the in-your-face symbolism of Pfeiffer's green dress, you can calm the flames of envy in an appealing hue of iris blue. Summer in LA is all about the hotel pool. Two personal favorites are The Roosevelt (an old Hollywood classic) and the London in West Hollywood. If you are planning on going to a hotel pool in LA you had better put your best suit on. The Pucci swimsuit below is perfect for a day poolside sipping raspberry mojitos. The light weight material will dry very fast ( if you're a water baby) or just relax in a lounge let yourself get noticed.

80 and Sunny
I just went went for a walk, and the weather here in LA is perfect; 80 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze from the west. It makes me long for a weekend in Palm Springs, lounging by the pool, draped in Pucci and sipping a Mai Tai.

Chloe black silk dress with multi color bead pattern. c. 80s. Modern size 4-6 SOLDPeep Perfection
My favorite Sunday of the year will be upon us soon (no I am not the biggest fan of the Super Bowl), Easter! How could you not love a day devoted to coloring eggs, playing Hide-and-Seek, pastel dresses with large brim hats and drinking before noon! This fantastic baby pink chiffon Sarmi dress is exactly what a hostess should don on Easter Sunday. This dress is layers and layers of pink chiffon with a pink silk lining. The dress is tied off with a pink satin bow just under the bust, creating a perfect empire waist. The bust is covered in pink feathers; very Easter appropriate! Now, grab a peep martini (pictured above) and make sure all those sugar laden children running about know that mommy has an invisible barrier 5ft. around her pretty pink dress. *Daniel*

IN THE SPIRIT OF AN ICON
We will also miss the great Elizabeth Taylor. Not only was she a phenomenal actress, but she was a revolutionary activist. She will be remembered as much for her many legendary performances as she will for her commitment to philanthropic causes and her unwavering fight for AIDS/HIV research and compassion. Looking at the many iconic photos of Dame Taylor over the decades, we are also reminded of her style legacy. She famously wore designs by Helen Rose, like the white chiffon dress above, designed for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The dress below was designed by James Galanos and is reminiscent of the famous Helen Rose dress (chiffon, sleeveless, tight at the waist and full at the skirt). A charming layered floral print of orange, yellow, and green flowers, this is an ideal dress to celebrate the first week of Spring and pay tribute to the incomparable Elizabeth Taylor.
