I thought it was very lovely that less than a week after costume designer Nolan Miller passed away, Katy Perry chose a terractoa silk slip dress of his desgin to wear to last night's benefit for City of Hope honoring Bob Pittman. You know what I love about Katy, she committs! She's a pop star and can do her take on flapper-meets-1930s Hollywood star-by-way-of-Nolan Miller (aka the king of the shoulder pad) with confidence and a little tongue 'n cheek. Give the girl credit, she makes fashion fun and has sold around 50 million albums world-wide. No small achievement for this California Girl!
Nolan Miller rust silk slip dress, c. 1980's. Modern Size 4. SOLD
