TSAKO IT TO ME!

People often are surprised by how heavy Hermes bags are empty. That's the price one pays (literally) for a handmade bag lined in leather. Have you picked up a 40cm Birkin? You will know what we mean. We are naturally partial to Hermes and always happy to find vintage Hermes bags (especially from the 1970s and 1980s) that won't give you a hernia. Hence, the chic Tsako bag we present to you today. An unlined (gasp) bag made in 1988, this blue leather shoulder bag features an adjustable web strap and flap with leather center and an Hermes bling ring. The bag does not have a zipper closure, but the flap secures the bag from prying hands. The straps are very clever in their adjustment mechanism. The straps go through two loops to adjust the length by unscrewing one end of the metal bar and slipping the strap through to the next loop. Presto!

Hermes Tsako bag in blue leather, blind stamp for 1988. 12 long at base x 11 1/2 high at highest point. SOLD
