WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?

How cool is this 1960s era Hermes Collier de Chien/Medor super wide belt? First of all, it's 3 inches thick, so it's much more substantial than the standard belts currently sold at Hermes. For lack of a better description, this belt is totally fierce. It's wide like a corset belt a la Alaia, but it's from the 1960s and in chocolate brown leather. We haven't polished the metal and rather love the natural patina, but one could certainly polish it up and have your waist shiny and happy. The belt isn't light, so prepare for some heavy weight on your waist. You won't want to get weighed at the Doctor's office wearing this belt!

Hermes Medor collier de chien unusual 3" wide chocolate brown leather belt, c 1960s. Measures 35 inches tip to tip. Gold has natural patina. SOLD
