Winter White . . . Or Perhaps Cream?

You've heard of the LBD, we now introduce you to the LWD (pronounced "elle-dub-deee"). This great cream silk day to evening dress looks like a skirt suit, but it is actually a dress. The shape is very similar to a wrap dress, but it is not a true "wrap" dress. This a James Galanos design and as a consumate couturier, the details are Epic and impecabble. From the waist down, the skirt of the dress is pleated. The bottom of the dress (or what appears to be the "jacket"), as well as under skirt, are scalloped. There is a waist sash that has a central rosette done in the same silk crepe as the dress. The entire garment is lined in cream silk satin. This is a sample so it has never been worn and is in excellent condition. The rosette is still wrapped in the original tissue!
