Actually we should write, if YOU fit this dress, buy it because wearing Alaia is a two-way street: you need the bod for it and in return Alaia (and the public) will love ya back and love your back, for that matter, too. This Alaia was originally bought at Charles Gallay in the late 1980s and is made of the heavy viscose stretch fabric that is a bit more forgiving than the thin knits Alaia often uses. The scoop neckline is trimmed with a narrow scallop at the seams that repeats at the end of each sleeve. The bum is nicely fitted and just below is a seam that provides for a little fish tail kick at the bottom which gives this classic Alaia a little extra pizazz!

Alaia viscose polyamide blend scoop neck tea-length (our fav length!) long sleeve dress, c. late 1980s. Marked size S, stretches for a fit body. SOLD
