LORIS AZZARO AND WHITE JERSEY

Loris Azzaro always used white jersey for dramatic evening dresses. Think of Nicole Kidman at the New York City premiere pf Moulin Rouge in her famous white fringe Azzaro from Decades. Or, Diane Lane at the Oscars in 2004 in the iconic three ring dress which was re-interpreted by current Azzaro Creative Director Vanessa Seward. These white dresses are legendary for their body-consciousness, simplicity of pattern, and dramatic details in the form of cutouts and color - white. This 70s Azzaro dress seems like a classic draped bodice dress in the Goddess form from the front but as the criss-cross bodice begins to reveal the sides are open and the back features the halters connecting to a horizontal strap that showcases an athletic and ultra sexy design. This could be a cool bride's option for her big day, or, this tea-length (again we are promoting the new practical length for evening) evening dress would be awesome for a star at the BAFTA Awards. Ultimately it's for a woman who has confidence and a body that can handle revealing white jersey. You work out hard and are disciplined, so show off a little in an original Loris Azzaro.
