Aimee Mann of
'Til Tuesdsay fame
brought us a few pieces right before Christmas including this
John Galliano mustard sweater of
hand knit cotton from the mid 1980s. This got me thinking about what a crap year
Galliano has had (self-imposed) and what his New Year's Resolution(s) might be? I am sure he is waxing nostalgic to a more innocent time when this sweater was designed before bouts of public intoxication could be caught on camera phones and result in total
annihilation by the fashion industry. Well he certainly hasn't waited 'til Tuesday 2 January 2012 to begin his amends and hopefully his rehab at Meadows has done the trick since the man has profound talent and can make the basic cable knit sweater look totally unique with an
exaggerated roll-neck, full sleeves, and cropped for your favorite pencil skirt in a color that puts the naughty in nautical. What are your resolutions?
