"The Blouse" by Ungaro

Just in time for the holidays, we just received three Emmanuel Ungaro blouses. The best thing to do, when you have no clue what to wear, is put on a well cut blouse with a great pattern. Pair that blouse with a nice tight pair of jeans, or a great pencil skirt, and the day can begin.

The first blouse is a black and cream silk stripe with a large orchid print overlay. The construction makes the piece appear to be a wrap blouse that ties with a bow on the right hip, and another on the left shoulder. This is all an illusion, the blouse does not wrap, it snaps. The bows are permanent and not to be undone.

The second blouse is magenta, with a paisley floral pattern overlay. The collar is of the mandarin sort, and the sleeves have a fantastic volume to them. Also, the shoulders are dropped, giving the blouse a very bohemian feel.

Lastly, a violet and pink blouse with a kashmir geometric floral print. The waist and cuffs are gathered, and the collar is ruffled.
