Ga Ga for Goossens

Two amazing looks, from an inspired jewelry designer, discovered by Coco Chanel herself. Robert Goossens created these looks for Chanel in the late 1950's. He and Coco combined their talents, and the result has become the look that is Chanel jewelry, "Byzantine Barbarian."

The first piece is a gold serpent bracelet with fuchsia colored square cut glass eyes. The bottom is hinged and has a fantastic gold chain that runs the length of the serpent.

The second piece is a bronze bracelet with faux sapphire glass beads. The beads are glass poured into brass rings that have been placed between two bronze circular link straps.
