The other day we were brainstorming about an exciting project involving the Decades website and blog. One thing we realized is that our readers don't have a confirmed update time when we add new posts. So, this is the NEW RULE. At TEN AM PST, Decades will add our daily blog post. We will attempt to do this religiously but it may take a few weeks to get the entire team in on it. δέκα is Greek for Deca, donating a factor of Ten. So make sure you get a δέκα T-shirt!

Having said this, I really should have posted something Greek like a Stav or Greek-inspired like a Gres, but having spent the last three weeks back East, I am feeling very Madison Avenue, very Uptown, and very Oscar de la Renta. This red lace mid-80s ODLR is a little pouf of Lacroix, Spanish inspired like Balenciaga, lace like a Tiel, and the color of the moment. Did you notice all the red on the red carpet at the Emmys? Have you seen how red is the new neutral for shoes replacing nude? Now I suggest wear this ODLR with nude shoes, regardless of the trend dejour.

Do not wear this with a Mantilla however.

Oscar de la Renta red lace "Spanish" strapless dress, c. mid 1980s. Modern 4 to small 6 SOLD
