How about this vintage Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche grey chiffon "tea dress." It may be from the 1970s, but it has a hint of the 1930s and add a large brim hat, sensible shoes, and a long strand of pearls and you will fit in without looking like you are en route to Trick or Treat. I love this dress worn with and without the coordinating poncho.
