BASICALLY PERFECT

This is what we call a basically perfect evening gown. It's a deadstock Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche simple strapless jersey column that has a surprise on top: a satin bow-effect bustier that is a bit reminiscent of the cummerbund on a man's tux. An evening gown like this is a foundation to a gorgeous piece of jewelry. If you have some major bling in the safe, but don't want to look like you are wearing everything but the kitchen sink, own this gown. This dress beckons for a dramatic necklace, chandelier earrings, and a slew of deco diamond bracelets. It wouldn't be inappropriate to swing a fox fling over your shoulder, too. Because the dress isn't distracting, let the jewelry do the talking. However, just because this is a basically perfect evening gown, don't think it won't go unnoticed. Rather, good taste is always noticed and when you are dripping in diamonds, it's nice to do so with class and a bit of YSL!
