MORE BLOUSES

We have a LOT of blouses to post over the next week, but our fingers can only type so fast! We are starting with two lovely off-white blouses from the mid 1980s by Chanel and Alaia, respectively. The Chanel blouse is reminiscent of a men's Charvet tux shirt, but in fluid ribbed silk with interwoven "CC" pearl logo buttons and french cuffs. If you were to throw on boyfriend's shirt to sleep in after attending a Black Tie affair, this would be your dream shirt! It's a bit oversized and we hope you might steal your boyfriend's Seaman Schepps cufflinks to complete the look.

The Alaia blouse is wonderfully detailed with beautiful pleats that nip in at your waist and a twin set of buttons going down the front of the blouse. A blend of Cupro and Viscose (remember Cupro in the 80s?), we think this is a great 40s-inspired blouse from the great 1980s.
