Halston is Hott, Hott Pink!

Halston was known for creating long, impeccably draped gowns for the 1970's jet set and disco crowd. The hott pink gown in this post is a great representation of what Halston did best, draping, and chiffon. The material used for this gown is a hott pink gauze. The neckline on this gown plunges to the high waist and billows over. Cut off bat wing sleeves give this piece an amazing flow when in motion. This hott pink material wraps the wearer's body in a cocoon of hott pink gauze chiffon. This ingenious design looks as though it were a sheet off the line that had been draped to perfection. Simple, elegant, and HOTT PINK!

There is some slight discoloration around the back of the waist band. This can be easily remedied with a high waist belt, such as the Charles Jourdan belt seen in the photo.
