It was the most gorgeous sunny day in Los Angeles yesterday, but our window said "bah-humbug" as our Winter Wonderland Snow Princess was installed wearing a Christian Dior Haute Couture platinum gown from 1952 called "Palmyre". This spectacular jeweled gown has been owned in similar versions by Marlene Dietrich and Mrs. Charles Chaplin and the cocktail version of this gown is in the collection of Palais Galliera, Fashion Museum City of Paris.
