AN ALAIA BELT AND....

Appropriate attire is something Alaia has mastered in his career. His clothes are always sexy, yet refrain from vulgarity. Although synomous with stretchy and sexy mini LBDs that are best worn after sundown, he has a light touch when it comes to modern day wear. This peach ribbed viscose blend ensemble consists of a cropped round neck long sleeve top and high waisted skirt (trimmed with an apricot hem) made uber chic by a coordinating wide leather corset belt with cutouts and trapunto stiching. The belt alone is divine. The skirt would look great with a white Brooks Brothers shirt tucked into it with rolled up sleeves. The top is neutral with a multitude of bottoms, but white Genetic Denim jeans seem to beckon. Doesn't this Alaia beckon, too?
