They may not use that phrase anymore (it's officially unisex now!), but for some reason this versatile 80s Chanel handbag reminds us of that endearing catch phrase since this bag is strong enough for the day, but made for the evening, too.

In other words, this bag may be considered an official luncheon bag for a lady who lunches (think the 1980s society circuit and fundraisers et al), but it is large enough for today's mandatory Blackberry or iPhone and a lipstick, powder, and Altoids. It is also small enough to wear out at night and the woven gilt and leather shoulder strap makes it a great alternative to an evening clutch.
