SUMMER AIN'T OVER

We are all familiar with the expression: "It ain't over 'till the fat lady sings." At Decades, we have a different, yes similar expression: "Summer ain't over 'till you've worn a vintage Pucci." Actually, you can extend a summer holiday just by wearing Pucci post Labor Day -- it's that easy! This is a pretty special Pucci ensemble from the early 1960s. Of course, we are smitten because it's a two-fer consisting of a embellished and beaded tank top that zips up the front and a coordinating organza skirt that is trimmed at the bottom with the very same paillettes and crystals featured on the tank. You will wear this in very many ways. Together, it's quite a statement. The shell is perfect with a pair of white jeans and sandals. We love the skirt with a white tank top, fitted denim jacket, and flip-flops. The multitude of mixing and matches ensures this can be a formal black tie ensemble, a cocktail top or bottom, or an eccentric accessory to a day look. This isn't some common Pucci silk jersey dress (nothing wrong with those as we just like to spice it up a bit), but this is a really special and unusual example of Emilio Pucci. We must add there is some slight wear on the skirt, but very close inspection would reveal this.
