Normally when I have a vision of a Goddess, I tend to go the Greek-route and think Aphrodite and I don't really imagine her in...pants! But why can't a Goddess wear pants? Halston made it okay! This is a very cool draped tunic of white jersey that is open on the side to reveal a pair of coordinating PJs. Well that is NOT the correct way to describe these jersey pants as they manage to make an elastic waist look chic and as far removed from a pair of your grandpa's sansabelt pants as possible. Since we started our blog, there's always a celebration when we have a "two-fer". Two-fers can be in the form of a chic tux pant suit; or a YSL peasant top with skirt; or in this case it's the amazing draped asymmetric tank which can be worn solo with everything from a legging or a jean or thrown over a bikini. When you wear your two-fer together with the sophisticated drawstring pants you have a total look that is 21st century divine Aphrodite although this is a straight-out-of-the-1970s Disco lounge ensemble. I see a lot of bold jewelry worn with this ensemble. That's the beauty of white jersey -- it's a canvas so paint all over it with your accessories.

Halston jersey draped tunic and drawstring pant ensemble, c. 1970s Flexible sizing 2 to 8 (lovingly cleaned by French Laundry but some slight soil reamins that was impossible to totally remove). SOLD
