It's been a busy and long day here at Decades. We sold a Jean Desses gown and a sexy cut-out Versace. But it's cold! Not sable-fur-cold like the East Coast, but mink-patch-pocket-fur-cold. The day started out pleasant enough - got to go on a hike at 8 am when the sun was still shining. But the sun faded behind a blanket of clouds through the afternoon, so this vintage 70s mink is exactly what you need to wear on a day like this! I love a wide collar and this one spreads itself over your collar. Plus, who isn't a sucker for pockets? Those fab patch pockets can hold a blackberry or Altoids (and not a mini tin, but a full-size one at that)! It does look a bit ridiculous over the archival Rochas gown, but what-the-hey! We're into eccentricity around here. If this mink was men's-size I would love to be sporting it right now, but I hope the new owner of this oatmeal colored coat will find it very wearable whether it's 50 degrees and overcast in LA or 29 degrees and snowing in NYC. Bundle Up!
