MOD-el

The sixties were known for several vastly different fashion movements, including the "futuristic look". One of its greatest pioneers Rudi Gernreich. He became notorious for pieces like the topless bathing suit, monokini and the pubikini.

Not to worry, this lovely gold and black A-line long sleeve dress will leave a bit more to the imagination than Rudi's other creations. The black wool dress has a gold ribbon wave design on either side of a solid gold panel. The gold panel runs from neck to hem on both front and back of the dress. Perfect to wear with flats and tights (that's how Peggy Moffitt wears her vintage Rudi) or dressed up with a pair of epic heels, a 60s A-line dress is always a wonderful addition to a well-edited closet of a vintage fashion lover.
