CFDA CELEBRATES 50

Even though Johnny Depp and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons were and a no show at last night's CFDA awards, there were plenty of stars and plenty of fashion.
Our very own Cameron attended in a custom made Nicole Miller suit with a coordinated custom made hat by Rod Keenan, Shamballa jewels, Burberry shoes and custom Lisa Kingsley bag. Photographed here by style.com with darling Jennifer Tilly in custom Nicole Miller.
Although absent to the event, Kawakubo send a powerful message: "I think the world and its values are too often lukewarm. I'd like to make them hotter."

IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW ME ON FB OR TWITTER...

I was in NYC Monday for the CFDA Awards and was honored to be wearing a top hat designed by Rod Keenan (pictured next to Michelle Harper -- he made her Fascinator). The hat was previously and famously worn by Michael Jackson. The suit was made by my friend and So Cal native Phillip Lim and is from his Fall 2011 collection. The shoes were made by So Cal amazing talent George Esquivel who custom made my dream oxblood boots. As for the bling, Irene Neuwirth gave me an insane ring to wear and Piaget a decadent watch (which I wish I had kept)! Follow my FB and Twitter to get my daily sartorial musings :)
