THE BLING RING

Coco Chanel famously declared that before you leave the house take one piece of jewelry off. She may have been right but the opposite works as well. If you pile up lots of pieces that you love, they will find harmony and make a statement. Play up your face this fall with oversized jewelry to bring the attention where it is needed. With collector pieces like these from Chanel to Eisenberg, you can never go wrong.

Say NO to Chocolate!

Let's be frank, no one wants chocolate or flowers on Valentine's day. Its all about the sparkle, whether it be from a champagne glass or even better... jewelry, better yet... Chanel jewelry.

Below are four of our finest pairs of Chanel earrings. First is a gold button style earring featuring a faux pearl surrounded by five Swarovski crystals. Next up is a four-tiered red Griproix glass shoulder duster, sure to give quite animpression on V-day; followed by two more button style earrings - one simple gold byzantine style and the other in a more ornate pearl and gold starburst design. Any one of these would make a perfect Valentine's gift, but if it were my choice... I'd go with the sexy shoulder dusters (a personal Fave).

ORNA-NATION

Decades might re-name ourselves. Perhaps we are a nation of ornaments. So, our new name could be "Orna-nation." Why "Orna-nation"? Because, we have the body ornaments you so desire. Here are a pair of Chanel earrings that are the type of ear ornaments that probably are so stunning that you might have super hero hearing when you wear them. The earrings are made of four components: 1) the round clips at the ear centered by a pearl; 2) an oblong ornate cage of gold; 3) a tri-color Gripoix poured glass cross of red, green and amethyst; 4) fringe seed pearls with faux peridot trim. At nearly 4 1/2 inches, these earrings pack a lot of punch, but isn't that what you want from Decades?

Looking for statement jewelry to top off a gorgeous vintage or contemporary dress? How about something that spices up your regular ol' day clothes? Costume jewelry is the way to go. The first earrings, from Christian Lacroix, combine stones in lavender, rose, and jade with gold hardware and pearl drops for a spectacular garden party effect. No less fetching are the Yves Saint Laurent chandelier hoops below, which employ Eastern-inspired stones and engraving for an exotic look. The next two sets are by Chanel--the first features a pearl drop with beautiful Gripoix poured glass, while the second stays simple and sexy with a small pearl drop and minimal gold hardware. If you want the Gripoix look for less dough, the Anonymous earrings below are the way to go!
