RED OR BLUE STATE?

Tomorrow I fly to Dallas for a book signing party and then fly on Wednesday to DC for our exciting Hu's Inaugural Ball Salon.  This dress would have been ideal to take to 1600 Pennsylvania but it just arrived which means any Inaugural Ball party hoping fashionista should snag our red Valentino evening dress directly from Decades and wear it with a blue shoes, white clutch, and gold jewels.  Actually kidding about the accessories as one needn't be too red, white, and blue, but you can never go wrong with a perfect Valentino red dress to show your proud stars and stripes.  Anyway, looking forward to seeing friends in Dallas and DC!

The silk blouse is a staple during the Summer because they are so versatile. Lets take turns

We have been posting a lot of YSL blouses recently, now its time to give Valentino a turn! Below we have five silk blouses ranging from über traditional to funky fresh; a blouse for every occasion. First is a mauve plaid blouse with very interesting rounded double collar and attached neck-tie. Second is a muted blue blouse with attached neck-tie, two front pockets and knife pleats all down the front. The last three blouses are the same style in a different material. First is a classic Valentino red houndstooth, then black with brown flower pattern and finally a brown and white stripe.

THIS IS WHAT SIZE SIXTEEN LOOKS LIKE

Yes, you read that right. According to the label of this mid 70s Valentino Boutique silk blouse, it is a size 16. When we dressed our size four mannequin in this blouse, she squealed as she mumbled "how can a size sixteen fit my size four anatomically perfect plaster body?" Well, it does, so get over it! Here is a classic black background red and white button front silk blouse and a matching backless ruffle halter of the same fabric. It's all a little naughty and a little nice, isn't it?
