FEEL THE POWER IN VERSACE

Gianni Versace didn't always design with sex fantasies in mind. At times he created dresses that were not leather but in colorful printed chiffons and silks, jackets and skirts that were not all built in bondage and leather straps. He loved color and green was a very powerful color for the Casa Versace. Here we have a Versace skirt suit that sure comes close to redefining the suit, with its simplicity and intricate black stripe arranged in a spiral twist, will surely make you feel powerful and sophisticated. It is very chic to feel strong.

KELLY GONE WILD

I am pretty much Lady Gaga over this Gianni Versace version of a Kelly bag.  He takes zebra printed pony fur in lieu of porosus crocodile while adding Medusa motif closure hardware, but sticks with the signature Hermesy lock and key, along with classic handle and removable shoulder strap.  Tis the essence of the Kelly whilst totally Gianni.  I guess you could say this Kelly goes both ways: classic and camp.  Certainly this is a Kelly gone wild by the late Gianni Versace.

VOILÀ VERSACE

This Gianni Versace dress is more restrained than what we saw in the ad campaigns of the 80's but it captures the essence of Versace, the royal hues of purple, red and blue, the softness of the silk blend, the dress is a mix of originality with modern flamboyance because Gianni knew that all women have a moment when they desire to look special.
In the words of Oscar Wilde; "Fashion is what one wears oneself. What is unfashionable is what other people wear". If you wear Gianni Versace, trust us you will be the fashionable one everywhere you go!

SHOW IT OFF WITH VERSACE

The fashion world has been really having a Gianni Versace moment recently. Bondage dresses, bold prints and over the top motifs are seen everywhere, from other designers inspired by the glamour of late 80's and 90's to stars like Lady Gaga who has been wearing vintage Versace for 2 months now. And will all the hype of Versace for H&M collection coming out this November, the house will reinterpret all Gianni's greatest hits. But why buy an interpretation when you can have the real thing? Wear this dress with a jacket during the day or for a meeting, and off with the jacket when you are heading for drinks or a fun event.

I like them in a tight dress

"I like the body. I like to design everything to do with the body." -Gianni Versace

This dress is all about the body. It is a classic LBD with an electric blue lining made from a spandex nylon blend. there is an iconic "missing piece" in the back, revealing just the right amount of skin. There are two electric blue buckles on the back accenting the "missing piece" portion. This is a dress for the confidently well endowed woman that is not afraid to show a little skin, or go without bosom support.

We're CUT!

This beautifully constructed Early 80's Versace evening gown has a high neck, short sleeves and two pleated flaps on the front and back of the gown. The "knife cut" construction gives the piece a very light airy feeling, and at the right angle a "peek-a-boo" point. Truly an amazingly constructed and well executed black gown.

Gianni Versace Medusa Dress

If the windows at Barneys can attest to it then and so can we. Attest to what? The fact that we love Gianni. Unfortunately we were not invited to the pre-super-bowl bash at the Versace Mansion in Miami hosted by Paris Hilton. But no matter we have some of the best pieces of his collections right here in our midst. So can you.

Gianni Versace, early 90s, white crepe mini dress. Detailed with metal Medusa clasps on the straps and one large on between shoulder blades at back. Marked as a size 8 but equivalent to contemporary size 4-6. The dress has been shortened by previous owner.

Gianni Versace

Once, in the early to mid 1990s you found yourself contemplating the mid to late 1980s and decided that you wanted to relive those fabulous days of big hair, bright colors and lots and lots of mistakes. But you wanted to do it right, and that means with a touch of class and a touch of Versace. From the early 1990s.

Well girls just want to have fun and that is all you will be having in this little dress. Lots and lots of fun. There is no doubt about it that you will cause a commotion whenever you decide to wear it. You can make it more festive with the optional floral print petticoat or you can make it simpler by removing it.

Gianni Versace Couture, early 90s, mixed media and textile printed mini dress. Mini powder blue bows adorn the corset bodice, and a the optional floral print petticoat is summery fun. Gingham and plaid, men's suiting patterns become feminine and sexy when Versace touches them. A contemporary size 4 equivalent. SOLD
