THIS IS NOT PRADA

It is vintage Celine. Since the print on print trend seems to linger on and undoubtedly will have a comeback sometime in the next couple of years, why not stock up on some amazing print shirts from 70's Celine. Celine has changed over the years, what started as a children's shoe store in 1945 in Paris by Madame Celine and her husband, is globally today the epitome of contemporary minimalism in womenswear with Phoebe Philo as creative director. In the seventies, after a car accident left Madame Celine stranded on the side of the road near Arc de Triomphe, inspired by the surroundings she created these famous prints. The shield, link and chain motifs inspired by parisian architecture will become the house's signature. The following shirts, all in perfect condition, can be worn with just jeans (short, skinny or flared) or printed skirts and trousers for a more dramatic look.  It is easy to wear Celine and look put together and effortlessly chic.

LAMBCHOP

Phoebe Philo, do you follow our blog? We love what you do at Celine! But we also love what Celine did back in the 1970s. Take this Shari Lewis nightmare cape of lambskin leather and fox tails which is perfect to throw on over just about anything in your closet. Feeling schleppy?Throw this on over your Lulus. Feeling fat? Throw this on over some Spanks. Feeling chilly? Throw this on over cashmere? Feeling jet-lagged? Throw this on when G6-ing. Feeling sexy? Throw this on your Alaia? Feeling Aspen? Throw this on over jeans. Get the picture? This goes with everything and fits everyone. It's a Celine prototype from the actual "defile" so if you like something original, this is for you. Come to think of it, isn't everything at Decades original?

Celine keep all.

From the Parisian house Celine, we have a fabulous 1970's carry all. The colors used in this bag are perfect for fall. The bag is constructed from suede, with the iconic Celine horizontal link pattern in fawn, over the dark chocolate background. The accents and handles are smooth dark brown leather that wrap from one side, around to the other. There is a leather oval on the front of the bag that has the classic Celine emblem emblazoned on it. This bag is great for a day trip, everything one would need for a jont along the coast can be held in this carry all.
