Sunny Delight (not the drink!)

Emanuel Ungaro began his interest in fashion learning to sew from his father. By his mid-twenties, Ungaro was designing for Balenciaga where he gained much insight into the art of draping and sculpting voluminous silhouettes. Women often turned to Ungaro for his great attention to the female form and this draped, yet form fitting blouse is the perfect example of what Ungaro does best.

This spotted, yellow blouse borrows its silhouette from the wrap dress; therefore, the cut is extremely forgiving. The ruching on the capped sleeves lifts this blouse, offering femininity and drama to the traditional polka-dot print. Whether worn to the office or casually on the weekend, this burst of sunshine is destined to delight even the most monochromatic of dressers.

RUCHED, GATHERED, ADORNED, AND ADORED

Who doesn't want to be ruched, gathered, adorned, and adored? Especially at 6 am in Los Angeles (we have a LOT to post so we are working 24/7 to get all the goodies up), the security of a little frivolity designed by Emanuel Ungaro insures that the Decades client who buys this cocktail number will look sexy and feminine, with a dash of Parisian coquette. Ungaro trademark elements of a floral motif (this time on a burnout velvet chiffon) in a signature tight silhouette of sexy ruching, delivers just the right side of over the top drama with a sassy trim of organza makes this LBD not seem too little, certainly not black, and puts the drool in dress! And that brings us back to being adored...
